Orange County Council’s Leadership Training Conference
Leadership Training Conference offered by our Council
The 2010 Orange County Council’s Leadership Training Conference will be held on Saturday, February 6th, at Santa Ana College, 1530 West 17th Street, Santa Ana, CA 92706, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. This training is VERY different than the one offered by our Pack in November. If you received this email, you will benefit! With many Pack positions opening up next year, this is a great time and place to begin your training in your current or new position. SAVE THE DATE ya’ll!
Scout Leaders of all stripes will have the opportunity to become educated by the best trainers in the Orange County Council. This conference is a truly unique training experience, in that Scout leaders, all parents and friends of Scouting can take up to SEVEN different classes in ONE DAY. Nearly 140 classes will be offered, covering the Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Venturing, Sea Scout, and Varsity programs, as well as a large number of general interest classes.
The singular purpose of this event is to produce better trained Scout Leaders and parents, so we may deliver the “Promise of Scouting” to the youth of Orange County.
Details may be found on the LTC website at http://counciltraining.net/ltc2008/index.htm or contact Jim Kruse, Council Training Chairman, at (714) 287-0943 or jakruse@pacbell.net for more information or if you have questions.
Pack 717 will reimburse your fees, which are nominal, associated with this training event.
