Pinewood Derby Car check in dates, January 17 - 18, 2010
It takes approximately a week to prepare the race schedule, judge the cars on their various merits, and prepare awards.
This requires cars to be checked in ahead of race day.
Please bring extra weights with you to the Car Check-In if adjustments are necessary!
Please review all the specifications in your kit for your car to qualify and review the Pack 717 addendum to the rules and specifications.
First Registration and check-in day for cars will be Sunday, January 17, 2010, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. The check-in will take place at the home of Marcel Esquenazi, 9 Longhorn Street, TC, 92679, (949) 888-0898.
• All final adjustments and lubrication must be made at check-in.
• Cars will be weighed with an official scale and must not exceed 5.0 ounces.
• All cars will then be labeled, packaged, impounded and stored away until race day.
Final Registration and check-in day for all cars will be Monday, January 18, 2010, from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The check-in will also take place at the home of Marcel Esquenazi, 9 Longhorn Street, TC, 92679, (949) 888-0898.
You can purchase weights at Michael's off Marguerite Pkwy ... they have a Pinewood Derby section.

And you can use fishing weights found at any sporting goods store.

• Fastest Looking
• Most Humorous
• Most Realistic Looking
• Most Colorful
• Most Original Design
• Best Use of Imagination
• Other awards as appropriate
• All participants will receive a patch at the Pack Meeting
